Plengkung beach or well-known as G-Land, is a beach located in the area of Alas Purwo National Park, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java and facing the Indian Ocean. Waves at this tourist spot got a special nickname from the surfers of the world, namely 'The Seven Giant Waves Wonder' which means it has 7 waves.
Plengkung beach is a paradise for lovers of surfing sports, even for surf enthusiasts it's not complete if you've never come to G-Land. The offshore wind that blows between April and September makes the biggest waves with a height of up to 8 meters with a length of 2 km. This is what makes Plengkung beach waves the 2nd most vicious wave after Hawaii.
This tourist attraction has an area that is still natural. The water on this beach has a combination of three colors, namely white, blue and green. Of course this is an exotic sight and a plus for Plengkung beach compared to other surf spots.
5. Mangrove Bedul, the Amazon of Indonesia
This Bedul Mangrove Forest is located in Sumbersari Village, Purwoharjo District, Banyuwangi Regency and still belongs to the Alas Purwo National Park area.
As the name implies, this tourist attraction is an unspoiled mangrove forest with an area of about 2,300 hectares which stretches as far as 16 km. This Bedul Mangrove is said to be similar to the Amazon river in Brazil, even dubbed as the Amazon of Indonesia.
Not without reason, this tourist spot in Banyuwangi is said to resemble the Amazon river because Mangrove Bedul forms a brackish water swamp with a length of about 18.8 km and a width of about 400 meters. On the right and left of this swamp has various types of mangroves or mangroves that grow thick and fertile.

The 25,000 hectare National Park presents an atmosphere like being in a savanna in Africa. Yellowish meadow with Baluran Mountain that stands firmly in its background. The National Park has 444 species of plants which are native plants and are able to adapt in very dry conditions, as well as 155 species of birds and 26 species of animals including wild buffalo, monkey, deer, deer, leopard, mouse deer, mangrove, and bull which is an icon of tourist attractions in Banyuwangi.
